Your time belongs in space.

I’ve hauled the freight, led offensive logistics, and kept an alliance online. I want to bring that experience to the CSM.

What I’ll work on.

Bring ESI in from the start.

Ariel Rin spent two CSM terms getting third-party developers heard. I want to keep that work going and put ESI on the agenda when new features are being designed, not six months after release.

An alliance of 50 needs good tools just as much as one of 50,000. Industry, markets, logistics: a stable, useful ESI lets players build tools that save everyone time. I’ll keep pushing for it.

Hauling is part of warfare.

Somebody has to get the ships, fuel, and supplies to the fight. That means taking risks in hostile space. The route planner should give you the information to make that call.

  • Show recent kills on the route bar and autopilot route.
  • Let “Prefer safer” routing consider recent kills as well as security status.
  • Bring the route intelligence from third-party tools into the in-game map.

The danger is part of EVE. Give us the information to choose our risks.

Let the people running EVE play EVE.

Corporations and alliances run on somebody’s evening. Spreadsheets, permissions, and routine admin pile up until the people keeping everything moving burn out.

I want better APIs to automate that work, and permissions that let you delegate a job without handing over the whole holding corp. Access to a hangar should mean access to that hangar. The people doing the work deserve time to undock, too.

From Red Frog to the front line.

Sopleb · Goonswarm Federation

I started EVE in 2007, hauling Red Frog Freight contracts and mining in highsec. Friends brought me into USTZ incursions, then our core group moved into wormhole J112150. Eventually, I headed to nullsec and joined Goonswarm Federation.

I went on to lead GSOL, Goonswarm’s offensive logistics organization. We built structures, dropped them in hot systems, and scooped cans from a piñata. My job was to organize the people and get it done.

Today I run GSF’s IT infrastructure and build applications using ESI. The goal has always been to keep our members in space, without having to wonder whether Mumble is down. That’s the experience I’d bring to the CSM.
